The presentation of the Collective Trademark of SEVΕ “MACEDONIA THE GREAT” at the European Parliament in Brussels was successfully conducted, initiated by the MEP Maria Spyraki of the EPP.
This was the first event for the presentation of the Trademark abroad, following the completion of the first cycle of informative meetings domestically, while SEVΕ is already planning future events and overall actions both within and mainly outside the country to promote the Trademark.
In the event coordinated by Mrs. Spyraki, who also delivered a welcome address, the following speakers participated: the head of the European group of New Democracy and Vice-President of the EPP, Vangelis Meimarakis, the President of SEVΕ Symeon Dimantidis, the Bulgarian MEP of the EPP, Representative of the Western Balkans and Southern Neighbourhood Enlargement, Andrei Kovachev, the President and CEO of Euroconsultants S.A., technical advisor of SEVΕ, Paris Kokorotsikos, and the head of the Permanent Representation of Greece to the EU, Ambassador Ioannis Vrailas.
Their presence honored the event, along with the Ambassador of Greece in Brussels, Ambassador Dionysis Kalavrezos, the Head of the Economic and Commercial Office of Brussels, Thanetos Karantzes, as well as MEPs Anna Asimakopoulou, Petros Kokkalis, Thodoris Zagorakis, Ioannis Kefalogiannis, and Stelios Kympouropoulos.
All congratulated SEVΕ for its nationally significant initiative, wished success in the endeavor, and declared their support for its progress and for the Trademark to gain recognition in every corner of the globe where Greek products/services are exported. They also praised Maria Spyraki’s initiative to organize this specific event at the European Parliament.
The SEVΕ delegation under its President Mr. Dimantidis, during its visit to Brussels, also met with the Vice-President of the European Commission Margaritis Schinas and the head of the Permanent Representation of Greece to the EU, Ambassador Ioannis Vrailas, with whom issues of extroversion and increasing the international competitiveness of Greek products/services and businesses were discussed.
