  1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to [Macedoniathegreat.gr | Meet The Great Macedonian] (“the Portal”). The following terms and conditions (“Terms of Use”) govern your use of the Portal. By accessing or using the Portal, you agree to abide by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Portal.

  1. Details of this portal

SEVEĀ is the Greek Exporters Association, established in 1975, and is the national voice for Greek export companies, dedicated exclusively to representing the interests of the Greek export community. SEVEā€™s members include manufacturers, distributors and service providers of a broad spectrum of products and services. SEVE represents more than 800 active and dynamic exporting companies and business groups throughout the Greek territory constituting a total of 40 billion euros turnover, with 70,000 employees and 25 billion euros export turnover, corresponding to more than 50% of the Greek exports.

One initiative of SEVE is the registration at the EU Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) of the Collective Mark of the European Union (in accordance with article 74 of EU Regulation 2017/1001), with the name ā€œMACEDONIA THEĀ GREATā€ that can be used by all SEVE members businesses whose products or services derive from the geographical region units of Macedonia (Regions of Western Macedonia, Central Macedonia and the Regional Unities of Drama and Kavala) ā€“ Greece.

  1. User Categories

The Portal is intended for two categories of users:

  1. Companies: Companies in the region of Greek Macedonia and specifically the ones that have been granted the Mark ā€œMACEDONIA THEĀ GREATā€ by SEVE (Greek Exporters Association), may access the Portal with approval and specific login credentials provided by the Portal Administrator.
  2. Guests/Audiences: Guests, who can visit open pages such as the blog, may register to become “Privileged Guests” to access additional privileges, such as contacting companies or producers and other future features.
  3. User Responsibilities
  4. Companies: Companies are responsible for the proper use of their accounts and for ensuring the confidentiality of their login credentials. They must adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.
  5. Guests/Audiences: Guests/Audiences must also adhere to all applicable laws and regulations. When registering as “Privileged Guests,” they agree to provide accurate and truthful information.
  6. Privileges and Access
  7. Companies: The Greek Companies that have been granted the Mark ā€œMACEDONIA THEĀ GREATā€ by SEVE (Greek Exporters Association), can access the Portal with the privileges associated with their account type.
  8. Guests: Guests who have been registered are called Privileged Guests and may have access to some extra content and maybe additional privileges as determined by the Portal. These privileges may change over time, and additional terms may apply to specific features. These privileges have to do only with communication with the Companies of this portal.
  9. User Content

Companies that have been granted the Mark ā€œMACEDONIA THEĀ GREATā€ by SEVE (Greek Exporters Association), retain ownership of their content but grant the Portal certain rights to use, display, and share this content within the Portal. All other users who give content to the blog are responsible for the content they submit on Portal Blog. SEVE, the Greek Exporters Association has the right not to accept the publication of any blog item that does not fit to the portal.

  1. Communication and Interaction

Users may communicate and interact with others through the Portal’s features. Users agree to conduct themselves respectfully and responsibly during these interactions.

  1. Termination

The Portal reserves the right to terminate or suspend user accounts or revoke privileges at its discretion, especially in the case of violations of these Terms of Use or applicable laws.

  1. Intellectual Property

The Portal’s content, logos, trademarks, and intellectual property are owned by the Portal or the declared owners. Users must respect these intellectual property rights.

  1. Limitation of Liability

The Portal is not liable for any damages or losses incurred while using the Portal or its services.

  1. Amendments

The Portal reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Use as necessary.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Greece. Any disputes will be resolved before the Greek courts of Thessaloniki.
